Opinions on waxed string

I just started making bracelets last month. Currently trying to figure out the best string to use. I have embroidery floss, 100% cotton, and waxed polyester. I’ve read elsewhere that waxed cotton is better than waxed polyester. I just don’t want any fuzz and for it to last longer. I just made #238 last night with the waxed polyester. I didn’t figure out how to get the knot tightness until the very end so it’s definitely very crooked. But my problem is that it’s not very comfortable to wear. It’s a bit plastic feeling. Curious if the wax wears off with time. What do y’all prefer and where do y’all purchase your string from? |

hi ! Personally, i prefer to use embroidery floss, and it's what most people uses, it's the easiest to knot with 🙂

I’m a little late but I prefer anything that’s NOT waxed, and that’s the same thickness, remember THE STRINGS BEING THE SAME THICKNESS IS VERY IMPORTANT
