What is the usual thread length I should I use?

Hi, I am a... Advanced-begginer (if that makes sense lol).I have already couple of bracelets, even alphas. I always struggle with thread length while starting a normal bracelet. It's always too short (and I have to connect string to string that causes bumps) or too long (what causes waste of the thread). What is an average thread length you guys use that is safe & not causes product waste? I always used 175cm's. |

It depends on the pattern. For something like a regular candystripe where all strings are used equally, you can use 90cm (or 180cm if folded).But if the strings aren't used equally, they need to have different lengths. For a normal half of a wingspan length would be 1 string so if u did a full wingspan u could hold that in half and that would be 2 strings. Hope this makes sense!!
