Hi, I recently started to really enjoy making patterns, mostly just for myself to use. But I still upload them to my account in case other people might want to try them too.So I was wondering if there’s a limit based on your rank, such as an overall limit on how many patterns you can upload? I’ve heard that there might be a daily limit, but I haven’t been able to find anything about a total upload limit. I was also wondering whether an account can be considered spam for uploading a lot of patterns. When I looked it up, I saw information suggesting that uploading too many patterns could cause the website to flag your account as spam. I just wanted to know if that’s actually a possibility. |

There is a daily limit depending on the rank, but not an overall limit. There are even accounts whose pattern count is well into thousands.

There is no total upload, just the daily limit which is based on your rank. 🙂Spamming is considered when a user submits a lot of patterns that look nearly same but only differ by a knot or two. Patterns can be similar if they are part of a series or collection, but the difference between patterns needs to be distinct. Being 'distinct' is also based on a pattern to patterns basis. Sometimes changing a couple knots can make a big difference. |

As far as I know only the amount of variations (or rather how often you can click "add a variation" in a day) is limited. There is no limit on how many patterns you can submit.

**Sorry, I meant that there is no limit to uploading patterns, just creating them (sorry, I was thinking about creating rather than uploading) 😅
