Hi I’m new at making alpha bracelets and I have a question how long I have to cut the strings?

Base strings need to be the desired length of the bracelet plus whatever you need for ties.Leading strings you can just leave on the skein and cut in the end. |

Base strings don't get shorter, because you only make knots onto them, you don't make knots with them.That is of course, if you don't use the two colour alpha technique, where you use the base strings for knotting too. |
