I want to make pattern #171871 but I don't understand how I would add just one string of black for the eye. The B and C colors have an odd amount of strings as well. Any tips are appreciated, thank you!

The easiest way would be starting with ties instead of a loop.If you do want to do a loop, MashaKnots' video on making loops with odd amounts of strings might help. |

you can try making a loop, you know how you start it by folding your string halfway through, just do the same thing, but instead, three strings of each color that you can make into six, bend them in half around each other, then tie in the three remaining lengths of String you need, (the last string of each color that you need, and the black string) and then start making the loop, you can do this with a whole different string if you like, (tie a different string that you are not going to use in the knotting, to make the teardrop start loop, then start knottingneeded skills: -teardrop loop starts -recognizing which string is which you can search up a tutorial for the loop, for me the first time was very easy 🙂 hope this helped 🙂 |
