Are you not allowed to use black (hex: 000000) when uploading designs to BraceletBook?

I was trying to make a new alpha pattern through drawing. I needed black, so I used hex #000000 (black). When I tried submitting it, I got this message: "Don't use black color in your patterns, please.". Should I switch to an off black (gray), or am I doing something wrong altogether? Thanks for taking the time to respond. 😇

Also, how do you set a difficulty for your patterns, or is that set by moderators?

You can't see the grid lines on 000000 so the moderators don't accept it and I believe the blackest is 262626 but I'm not completely sure and the difficulty has been removed several years ago because it was hard to gage what difficulty each patter was I hope this helps.

We do not accept super dark colors because the grid/knots and overall design needs to be easy to read.262626 is the darkest black we accept. |

Also as the user above said, we don't assign difficulty to patterns. We stopped this several years ago because it is subjective and not very valuable.
