Hi guys. I've just recently started making bracelets. When I make knots, the string moves over my index finger, just below my nail. I've noticed that it gets painful after a while. Should I be holding the string a different way? I have been putting a small band-aid on my finger to keep the string from rubbing on my skin, but the adhesive wears out rather quickly. I figure there must be a better way. What do you guys think? c:

Masha knots has actually talked about this in one of her videos and she just tries to manipulate the string differently but that she’s almost built up a harder skin in the area over time. Personally I how I catch my string is in the first crease of my index finger and when that starts to hurt I switch to the corner of my nail, I keep my natural nails in a square shape.
