I use CXC embroidery floss and am currently making a bookmark, so I'm wondering if firstly you can wet block these pieces in order to make sure they're fully straight on the sides ( I've been using the straight-edge technique but it still isn't perfect ), and secondly if I should make my tassel finish before wet blocking ( as I don't imagine the knots would react in the same way the normal stiches would. Any help appreciated!!

You can wet-block friendship bracelets, but it's no fix-all.I recommend to additionally cut loose strings in the back in case they are pulling on the bracelet. For future works I recommend also using the flat alpha technique. I'd make the tassle in the end so it's not in the way while blocking. |
