I understand the process of getting a variation approved but I guess I'm just curious on how they decide which ones should be approved and which ones shouldn't. Is it just a matter of them thinking it's pretty or not? Or is there more technicality behind it? |

reasons for a variation not getting accepted - there's already a very similar variation - the pattern already has many variations - the colours are too similar to each other - there are colours that are too dark |

@halokiwi is correct A variation may not be accepted because: 1. It is too similar to the original pattern or an existing variation 2. The colors are hard to tell apart (they need to be clearly distinct from each other so it is easy to see the pattern) 3. Colors are too dark (333333 is the darkest black we accept) 4. Pattern already has a lot of variations that already exist 5. All variations need at least 2 colors |
