I struggle a lot with finding the right length of string, and I've often ended up with too short strings, I've tried attaching another string to make it longer again but it ends up being visible on the bracelet, any tips ?

The best option is to take a bit too much, in my case i wrap the thread 5 times around my wrist and cut it, there is always enough that way. Maybe too much sometimes, but surely will be enough for not adding thread.

Alex's Innovations show different methods in her video. Maybe one of them will work for you:

I've written a tutorial on calculating string length that you can check out, if you want:

I would always put more string in than what you think is necessary, because you can always cut it down at the end. Save that string too and make rag rug bracelets, so adorbs

when i have a piece that’s too short, i often hold it up out of the way, and tape a longer piece of the same color behind the bracelet, do half of the knot, then put the short piece over the knot, and under the other strings, and then i finish the knot with the new string. i hope that makes sense & helps!!
