Post in the Forums, comment on patterns, submit patterns/variations (this is only for the site, not the app), submit photos, participate in [OFFICIAL] challenges. 🙂

I'm not completely sure what does and doesn't help you rank up other than what was already mentioned but I think adding to-do's and rating patterns also helps! (Would need a mod to confirm tho)

You can gain a higher rank by commenting and submitting patters and competing in challenges. Posing pictures are good too
