So I just started learning how to make alphas and I notice that the alphas I do make seem a bit long, longer then the grid the patterns show. Like it’s supposed to be round but it looks like an oval. is there anything I can do to avoid that?(I’ve recently submitted photos of my finished keychains so if you want to see what I mean they are likely on my profile) |

This is pretty common/normal.You can - use thicker base strings/double your base strings - make your knots a little looser - push your rows up with a ruler or something similar - skip rows/adjust the pattern in other ways |
