I have made a decent amount of bracelets but i am still struggling to get straight sharp bracelets, for some reason the last knots of each row just wouldn’t stay uniform and it’s give a bumpy and not the best shape to a bracelet.ESPECIALLY WITH BRACELETS THAT HAVE LESS THAN 10 strings , thinner bracelets r the worst but i like to make them as they r quickly made and r more comfortable to wear What do I do I need all the tips P.s i have made a few alphas but i never struggle with straight edges on them because i always use a forward-backward knot in the end of each row and backward-forward knot in the beginning of each row , but this cannot be done on a normal pattern because pf different patterns and colors overlapping eachother to actually form a pattern So please help me with this |

I found this tutorial on YouTube that includes a straight edge technique for normal bracelets! https://youtu.be/Hft_KoLaUCc?si=1ENWYyA8csi_KcLR

The straight edges technique can be done on both alphas and normals. For (most) normals you just need to add an extra string at the edges. https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/ |

straight edge technique aside, also work on being consistent in your knot tension as well as your knot placement. I have a longer explanation about this on my bio (I'm too lazy to repeat myself. lol)

You can look up the straight edge technique for alphas by a Youtube Creator “Masha Knots”! She explains how to keep the edges of alpha patterns very straight!!
