It depends on the amount of rows/how long you want the bracelet to be. The length of the base strings needs to be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for ties. If you also make knots with your base strings, they need to be longer. The leading strings need to be even longer. Most people just leave them on the skein and cut them in the end. |
