I would not use yarn like you would for crochet or knitting. I recommend embroidery floss or craft thread.

I use cotton thread from rico design (ricorumi), or other cotton yarns. Idk if you have a sister grene store in your country because they have cotton yarn too. So in summary, I recommend amigurumi yarns. And they're quite good. 👍
