I'd like to be able to do a hollow core key chain around a ball or other object. I did several searches and could not find anything like this. I could be searching with poor terms or there really aren't many videos / tutorials on this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can search for "macrame ball" or "paracord ball". There is one called "monkey's fist".You can also make a "tubular friendship bracelet" https://youtu.be/EShc2pLVDxU?si=0vJs3qxTXXDc3O8j Basically you just connect the left edge to the right edge. I once made a chapstick holder from pattern #36660. You can check out the photo I posted to it. I used 64 strings for that (4x the original pattern). Even though it wasn't very big, you need surprisingly many strings for such a project. |
