This bracelet only has 1 string of a certain color green. I don’t have enough string to cut individual strings for the other colors. How do I tie a knot for this bracelet??

For pattern #168735 you need7 strings of colour a (white, background) 2 strings of colour b (light green, leaves/stem) 1 string of colour c (dark green, leaves/stem) 2 strings of colour d (yellow, flower) 2 strings of colour e (red, flower) You can change these colours, if you don't have enough of a certain colour. If you want a different background colour or don't have enough white string, you can use a different colour instead. Do you know how to read patterns and how to make knots? If no, I recommend these videos: https://youtu.be/bClGNDcndMg https://youtu.be/cwTBtpF0TcE Are you struggling how to make a starting loop because of the uneven amount of strings for certain colours? If yes, you could either start with a tie instead of a loop or you could learn how to do the loop from this video: https://youtu.be/_IyGiKsjNJM?si=fmYRgK0xuhEklXQh I'm not sure what exactly your question is |

Ah sorry, was too slow 🙂I'm glad you figured it out. What was the solution? |

I folded the strings in half and then cut them. For the one white string and dark green I just measured them the same length as the ones I cut in half.

Oh okay, so was this a figuring out the string length or making a loop issue? If it's about the string length, you don't need to fold the strings, if you are not planning to make a loop. You can cut individual strings for all the strings. In most patterns the strings are not being used up evenly, so cutting them all the same length might not make sense for all patterns. If you need help figuring out the string length, these tutorials might help: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/171_calculate-thread-length-for-normal-bracelets/ https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/173_how-to-calculate-string-length-in-a-normal-pattern/ |
