I couldn’t change the color black to grey while I was creating a normal pattern and I didn’t know what was going on 🙁

So you can’t use dark colors when creating patterns. This is because people use the grid when actually knotting the pattern. Since the grid is black it blends in with dark colors meaning it’s hard to see where to knot. The darkest grey they allow is 262626 which I use a lot.

To change colours in the generator, you have two options
- on the first page of the generator, click on one of the colours in 'colors used'. Then you can change that colour. Then click 'save and test' to apply the changes.
- on the second page, click on 'using color' to change the colour and then click on the beginnings or ends of the strings you want to change to that colour. Don't forget to click 'save' to save your changes.
