When ever you tie the knots make sure the string you’re tying the knot ON doesn’t cross the string your tying the knot WITH. Also keeping tension on the string really helps to keep the knots clean and tight. Also like cheesasaur said lots of practice. And start out with the easy patterns with helps practice perfect knots.

i agree with the others on this thread. bracelet making takes a lot of practice, precision and patience. be really mindful of where you're tying what knot and keep the string you're tying on tight. i'd also recommend not tying the knots super super tight because in some patterns that causes the knots above to flip over and disrupt the flow of the pattern. hope this helps!
