How do I design a pattern to make it actually look like and object. For example, a bracelet with flowers. Do I just play around with it until it looks right? How do I know if they should be forward or backwards knots (exc.)??? Help!

if your making a normal pattern:just do a series of forwardbackwards knots and backwardforwards knots. this is the best and easiest way to make something look like a real thing. you could use normal knots but it would take a VERY long time if your making an alpha: you can add images. if you have a simple image you can add it in and the alpha bracelet will be the picture. You can still change part of it to make it more unique and/or beautiful! for more info you could ask some moderators, Admin or use the website/apps most asked questions to help out 😄 🔥 |

Make a sketch on graph paper so you know what you want it to look like. Once you got a clear image in your head you can start experimenting. Eventually you'll get the hang of it.
