Different threads in the same bracelet???

So I want to do this wall hanging and I don’t have enough of the colors in just embroidery floss or the craft cord string. If I combined them I would be able to make the wall hanging with the right colors. I just don’t know if it’ll work because the craft cord is about the same thickness it’s just twisted. Will I be able to use these different threads in my wall hanging? Thanks! 😊

Different threads can produce knots of different sizes. I'd recommend knotting a small test swatch with each type of thread to see, if they come out to be the same size.

like halokiwi said it can make a difference, i usually make sure they have the same number of « threads » (usually 6) and i go by feel
