How do I create a shaped pattern on bracelet book? I looked for a tutorial but I could only find how to make the bracelets, not the patterns... Maybe someone could make a tutorial on this?

When I wrote the tutorial, there wasn't an interactive generator yet. What I would do now is write out the basic shape in the regular part of the normal generator and then go to the interactive generator to add details.You make shaped patterns by leaving out knots. Left out knots are represented by 0 in the regular normal pattern generator so instead of writing f, b, fb or bf, you just write 0. In the interactive generator you click on the knot to change its type from f to b to fb to bf and finally to 0. You can also right-click in the interactive generator to circle the knot types in the opposite direction so you can get from f to 0 with just one click. |
