How to keep the edges of a normal pattern bracelet straight ? Any advice or tutorial recommendation ?

You could try using the straight edges technique. That is when you add an extra string on either side onto which you make bf knots on the left and fb knots on the right.https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/101_the-straight-edges-technique/ What also helps is to not pull the bracelet too much to either side while knotting. Try to only pull the bracelet straight down. |

For straight edges I use backward forward knot (left side) and forward backward knot (right) when I’m doing Alphas.

I think it’s forward knots and backward knots
