Uneven Alpha bracelets

When making alphas, I find that that parts of my bracelets with the main pattern is a lot thicker than the part that is mostly background. Can anyone tell me how to alleviate this? (I also use the flat alpha and straight edge techniques on all of my bracelets if that's important). Thank you 🙂

Try to make you knots wider and pull the strings that are in the back a bit tighter. It helped me, hope it t helps you too 😊

A ruler is a good idea I never would have thought of that. I've been using my nail to push uneven knots into place but a ruler would make the whole row aligned

I had a problem with this but I found some ways that helped me I started making my background knots a bit looser and then making my colour changes tighter. Another way that I found helpful was using a ruler to keep the rows straight 👍Hope this helped |
