Ok so I know how to make patterns on the computer, but I’m traveling and didn’t take it with me. I can’t find how to make patterns on my phone, can I even do that? Please help!

You cannot make patterns on the app, however you can make patterns on the website, which is available on computer and mobile.

The only difference when using the website on the phone is that you need to click on your username instead of moving the mouse over it to get to "create patterns".
