My best advice is that you start with a few threads, at least up to 8, and don't want to start too fast with intricate patterns. You better start with the Candy canes and Chevrons for example #1 #2 #6 and #16 to familiarize you with the form of knotting. Also you can search with Keywords: segment-knotting 👍

I recommend you to watch the YouTube Channel Masha Knots... she has really good tutorials, but also she explain really good... also for the basics, she has a big list of videos for beginners 👍

I hoop this help to you 😊

Kind regards

I would reccomend doing segment knotting instead of row by row knotting, it works better for me to do segment knotting 🙂

My advice for designing normal patterns is using graph paper to draw the pattern before putting it into the generator. This tutorial explains the basics of it https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/34_designing-normal-patterns/

You can also use a clickable generator like the one explained in this video https://youtu.be/MuA2wMEtywk

You can also just experiment with the pattern generator to get a feeling of it.

In my personal experience once you start designing patterns you'll get so much inspiration and it's almost impossible to stop 😄

Is this what you were asking for?

I'm not sure of your experience level, but if you have the basics down and are starting to explore the different types of starts and ends for your bracelet (including triangle ends, double triangle ends, beginning loops, and more) I made a video about it on YouTube called The Comprehensive Guide to Starting and Ending Your Bracelets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6-KQDLeKik&t=2388s

Hope this helps!! 😄
