Finger getting rubbed RAW

Ummm, I know this sounds weird, but when I'm working on a bracelet my finger ends up becoming raw, dry, etc. Just wanted to know if anyone had any advice on this please respond ASAP!

If its the sides of your fingers, like mine do, try using fabric band-aids.
