Whenever I make an alpha pattern 2 or more colors, you can't tell what the pattern is almost all of the time. Did I mess up???

Alphas are hard to make and they take a long time to get the hang of. Just keep practicing! One thing I'd suggest to watch is tension. I know it can be hard but try to keep the tension the same all the way through out the bracelet. You'll get the hang of alphas don't worry 😄

I also try and just keep it flat somehow while making it, like with a clipboard. It helps a little. btw I haven't even figured out how to go beyond 2 colors😉

It may help if you arrange all your strings in the proper order and then tape them to a flat surface. I find that works really well!

There are some good videos on youtube showing you how to add strings for more than 2 colors
