You need 3 strings or if you are connecting a bracelet together you just fold one string in half with the bracelet underneath. Then with the left string put it over to the right either on the middle string or over the bracelet. Then take the right string over the left string under the middle/bracelet and go up pulling the two ends apart. Then the second half will be the opposite taking the right string and going over the middle string/bracelet and then the left string goes over the right one under the middle and up pulling.
