@arf820 Thank you for the clear step-by-step explanation from the 2 methods to switch colors in an alpha pattern. Together with the video's it helped me a lot. 😊

@mdramsey you could do either method :] i would do the flat switch because i prefer it for any pattern, but it won’t cause issues at all

What would one do when doing an alpha that has 2 different colors at the very beginning and end/ the first and last row of the bracelet? Like pattern #44762

@INUYASHA_2 on the 1st knot you pull tight then on the 2nd knot you leave some slack.

Thanks so much! I have one question though, how come when I switch colors the new leading string goes all 'horiziontal' meaning I cannot tie knots in the correct location. When it's horizontal, the two strings making the knot become a triangle and the knot ends up either on the wrong side or hidden behind an already existing knot.

Thank you so much!!! I was doing color changes in my alphas and was wondering why they were so bumpy. Turns out i was doing it wrong. Tysm

@icyhell i am sorry, but i am unable to make a video tutorial, since that is frankly beyond my area of expertise, and i don't have the time to film a video right now. however, there are quite a few tutorials on youtube! i linked two masha knots videos at the end of my tutorial here, and also alex's innovations, kinsey b, and megan morris have tutorials on how to make alphas. hope that helps! 🙂

do you think you can make a video for people who might need the video more than step by step
