Finished 1/17/2026! I made this one based off of the sweet alyssum flower for my godmother's sister, because I had made my godmother #146981 based on a monarch butterfly, which likes those flowers. I definitely understand the appeal of these bracelets now. I thought they were so simple and had no desire to wear one, but when I actually held the finished piece in my hands I almost didn't want to give it away! And I did end up getting the chains to round out! I think the most important thing is to make sure that the flower ends on an angle, if that makes sense, so that when you tie each side of the chain, they stick out. When you start the next flower, it brings them back together and creates the rounded shape. My chains were 8 knots long, and my beginning loop has 16 knots. The best part of this pattern is it's simplicity. I've never made a bracelet before where once I made the first repetition, I never had to look at the pattern again. And it works up so fast! I'll definitely be making more of these.
@halokiwi Okay, so do you think a tighter or looser knot would help it round out? I also saw a comment that might have been by you, I can't remember, about pushing the knots up to help it round out, but I don't understand what that would do or if it would work
I've read all the comments on this pattern to see if this question has been answered yet, and people have asked but I haven't found an answer that makes sense to me. I've made a different daisy chain-type pattern before, and I had trouble with the chain part. I understand how to make it, but how do you get them to round out like in the tutorial by Masha Knots? Mine end up looking flatter like in the tutorial by Alex Innovations. I've skimmed multiple tutorial videos and haven't found a suitable answer. Any help is appreciated
For the measurements of the bracelet that I found the best for 10 Daisy’s is 5 wraps around a ruler (3 yards and a foot or 300mm i think) for the chain, for the white part of the Daisy is 6 wraps around a ruler (2 yards or 180mm i think) lol, and for the yellow center I did 4 wraps around ( 1 yard 1 foot or 120mm). For the beginning loop I did 10 knots on each side adding up to 21 knots. Then for the chain all the way down I did 9 knots on each side. Hopefully this helps if my measurements are wrong please let me know. lol
