@ilowouah have you tied an alpha before? You can measure an alpha you have tied before and use it to calculate how long 71 rows will be for you.

@aliya_12 if you're talking about lead strings, 11 to 12 inches would work.

I’ve never done an alpha before so I’m not sure if this should be one I should start with but I really want to except I do not know how long to cut the strings for it.
