@cash1615 Everyone knots alphas a bit different. If you know how many lines per inch you normally knot, you can divide the number of lines in the pattern by that number and add a few more inches to work with for the ends. For example, I knot about 15 rows per inch, so 84 divided by 15 is a little over 5 inches for me... then depending on what type of ends I make, I would add around 10-12 inches for a total of 15-18 inches for just the base strings. 🙂
