I looove this!! I was kind of scared to try it because I’m kind of new to bracelet making, and this was the most strings I’ve done, but it was actually really simple!! And it’s sooo cute!!!

How long does this pattern usually take for beginners?

Just finished this bracelet and it is absolutely amazing! For the length of the strings I just did 4x the length of my arm (I am 168cm-5,6 tall) and did the pattern 2 times. I really love how it turned out, you should definitely try it!😍

@grcleven I think you can't really avoid the dots if you do the straight edges technique. Patterns like this have a tendency to go in waves a little bit but if you always make sure to not pull the bracelet to either side while knotting you shouldn't run into this issue.

does anyone know how to use the straight edge technique for this one but not get the dots on the left with the next color? ex: the far left little hangy bits on rows 6, 14, 22, 30, and 38 (see my picture for a visualization haha). or would you say the straight edge technique isn't really necessary for this pattern? 😉

@mjlgvw I did! That’s why there are the little dots of the next color on the left. I couldn’t figure out how to make those not be there... 😅

@grcleven did you add strings for straight edges?
