Okay, I finally finished! Hurray! Here are some numbers: 1. It took me 72 days (I know this because I took a photo every time I finished a row to create a time-lapse video, I will probably add it here soon). 2. I used over 380 m (1,247 feet) of colored thread and over 120 m (394 feet) of base thread. 3. Each row took me an average of one hour of knotting, so I spent over 200 hours creating this pattern.
I'm a little sad that it's over. It accompanied me to various places, traveled many miles with me, and was with me through the good and bad times in my life, so it's a piece with many different memories to recall. Sometimes I had enough of it (it requires a lot of patience, I won't hide it), but I'm still very proud of it and I can definitely recommend making such large patterns.
@TeaFairy -now and one day I really want to try to do it, but I know it’s going to take sooooo long😩 and for that reason, I’ve been procrastinating even starting it. But I am so excited to see it when you’ve finished it and I’m sure it’s going to turn out absolutely lovely!🤭 I wish you a lot of patience and when you’ve posted a photo, PLEASE tag me bcuz id love to see it as soon as it’s done!😊
I started this wonderful pattern two days ago, I wonder how long it will take for me to finish. Whish me a lot of patience.😄 Of course I will add a photo when I finish.
