I made this pattern today and I love it! It was quite and easy pattern, the only thing to really keep in mind is that when you restart the pattern you just go ahead but with different colors, which is how the gradient/colors go up. But otherwise a nice, simple, and cute pattern! <3
@Sarah8kin Start on the right side and work your way in. For example, you would start with string F and do a forward backward knot, then do the row of string E, then D and so on. Once you get to the bottom of the pattern just repeat that with the other strings.
