@jukey Also “punishing wrong people” would not be the appropriate words in this context. I have been sharing my own designs with almost nothing back with maximum $1 per day($30 per month max) by working 3-4 hours average daily because I appreciated people’s positive feedbacks. However people would just exploit my gesture by rude comments or copying. Asking $1 per month for obtaining a new design( and all the old ones) would not be close to “punish” especially these are not necessary for living.
@ponotama If people don’t support the copying creators that would help the original creators . Also the admin contacted me that they would remove the videos and I said it’s no problem. I am sure they are working on it as there is nothing I could do. If you want that process faster, you should contact the admins.
I understand that you are trying to keep your designs being copied but paywalling it just punishes wrong people. Also your patterns are impossible to follow without videos. At leas remove your videos from your patterns because they are unwatchable anyways.
@jukey Copying and using someone’s idea is far easier than making your own from the scratch taking risk using so many threads which can go really wrong and have to throw them away. I could spend 3 days over 20 hours to make one design and that doesn’t produce anything after all. Please try to understand the frustration that someone just looks, remakes and upload the video right after you spend days on it. Also you didn’t add 1 star on this pattern you were trying to make, I misunderstood. Also for designs which aren’t my original such as Clean Back Alpha, the technique that was made by a different creator, I asked directly for a permission to create a video tutorial, and her name is easily visible on the title and description. Also this and any designs which aren’t mine are all still free on my YouTube channel, since I didn’t think it was right to charge anyone for something I didn’t originally create.
@jukey User like yourself is one of the reasons I had to add a paywall: instead of showing any respect to the original designer, look for a pirate version who doesn’t give the original credit to me ever for more than 1-2 times, and not only that put ⭐️ 1 on every pattern of mine even the one you are trying to make. There have been a certain creator, who had been just copying my original design and making the tutorial on YT on her bigger platform without giving me any credit and it was extremely frustrating that my copyright has been stolen over and over and she didn’t stop starting from 4 years ago and the most recent ones were from my newest 2 apart from this summer’s design. Making the paywall was the only way to protect my rights otherwise I was robbed repeatedly, and there are quite a few who showed respect and joined already.
