@jennypenny The length of the bracelet can vary depending on which yarn you use and how tightly you tie. For me, the whole pattern with 180 rows was about 18 cm long, and I knit quite tightly. I think the center of the pattern is on row 85, so if you start on row 1, the bracelet will be completely symmetrical with 170 (85+85) rows. If 170 rows are too long, it should be possible to start later in the pattern, for example on row 5, then the bracelet can be symmetrical with 160 rows. 🙂

If you continue the bracelet past row 180 to finish the pattern, will it be too long to tie as a bracelet? My wrists are pretty small but I love the idea of having it symmetrical. It’s so pretty!

if you want the pattern to be symmetrical stop at 169 instead of 180 <3

@lukemagnus I used the same lengths but I did run short for the overlapping colors (my variation I used white and orange)

Thank you very much, @wild816! Good luck! I needed to get my crappy one up first before others post better quality results lol

Hey @wild816 - I used six foot lengths (1.8 meters) before folding - so each thread was about 3 feet (0.9 meters). I didn't run short.

I love this! Since it’s big, how long do the strings need to be? I don’t want to get halfway through and run out lol
