@AngieKim if you count the knots for each color, you can estimate string length for various patterns. In this pattern, each repetition has 15 knots of white and 11 knots of each color. So the white strings would need to be a few inches longer 😊

this pattern is super easy! i just advise everyone who does it to cut their white string (or whatever background color you use) a few inches longer than the others! i had to add string to mine so it looks a bit wonky, but otherwise great pattern!
