@sugarbelle ok so when you get to the end the purple should be in the middle, it shouldn’t end where it started for this one, now on your second time through completely disregard the colors, it’s almost as if you weren’t using the colors the pattern gave, use the purple string to make the knots on the pattern that are shown as white, as another one, use the teal strings to make the knots that are shown as red
In this pattern the purple changes to white so once you get to the end you go back to the beginning and the white knots are now what you do with purple if that makes sense, the blue changes to the red and the yellow changes to the blue and so on and so forth, it’s kind of like following a pattern but using different colors than the ones given. You could also completely disregard the colors on the pattern and just go by the direction of the knots
@sugarbelle sorry I’m getting back to this so late! You may have figured it out by now but anyways... This is know as a color shifting pattern so say the purple ends up in the middle, you go back to the start of the pattern and whatever color is in the middle, say red, now represents the purple, let me know if that makes sense, Nashua knots also explains this pretty well in her dovetail tutorial
@connbroo but it doesn’t end with the purple strings in the same position as the start of this pattern?? Mine end in the middle 😩. I’ve tried to look at the other patterns but with the colors different I can’t get it 😭 please help!!
You can make a tear drop loop with this bracelet. It might be challenging but I did it and now I know how to do it. To do a tear drop loop you can look at Masha knots video tutorial. It is doing the same exact pattern as this one. 😄
