@becca-faye the dimensions give you the amount of rows (12) and amount of knots in a row (7).
In a normal pattern I usually cut each string around 95cm. If I see that there are more or less knots than average made with one string, I'll cut it longer or shorter.

How do I figure out how long to make/cut my strings? I see it’s dimensions are 7by12 But I’m guessing that is after it’s all said and done?! Please help! Lol thanks in advance! I can’t wait to make this one! 😸

i would recommend doing forwards backwards/backwards forwards knots on the edges for it to be straighter!

@pancakes30 Thank you! I used the straight edges technique for this bracelet, it really helps the edges look nicer. I believe Masha Knots has a tutorial for it on YouTube.

@sc1718 yes, you can knot every normal pattern row by row.

@juliedrama the bracelet might be bumpy just because of the knots on the edges. You could try using the straight edges technique. Masha Knots has a tutorial on how to do it on YouTube. If you don’t want to watch it, basically all you have to do is backward forward knots on the left and forward backward knots in the right. This won’t affect the pattern, it will just straighten the edges. I hope this helps.
